How provider listings are reviewed

You want to know whether a badge on a clinic or pharmacy page means a regulator has certified that provider.

Listed

A listed provider has a public page because a clinic, laboratory, pharmacy, or doctor record exists and is active on this platform. The name, area, phone number, and speciality text are whatever was saved on that record. Speciality text is not checked against a medical council by the public page.

Approved listing

An approved-listing badge means an administrator of Bharat Swasthya Setu has marked that partner account approved. Marketplace partners can be asked for business proof, a medical registration, a laboratory licence, a pharmacy licence, or an address proof, depending on the partner type. The badge does not appear because a government portal sent an automatic approval.

Clinic queue pages do not use that badge merely because the clinic is open for booking. A clinic can be listed for tokens and appointments without being described as verified.

What we do not claim

We do not claim that every doctor on a clinic page has a verified degree. Clinic doctor records store a name and an optional speciality. They do not store a medical degree or a registration number, so those details are not shown and must not be inferred.

We do not invent ratings. If a page shows reviews, they are reviews stored for that clinic. The absence of a rating means we are not displaying one.

How a provider asks for a correction

Use the Contact page or the corrections policy. Include the public URL, the detail that is wrong, and a way to reach you. Do not send patient records to prove a listing.
