How tokens, appointments, and the Health Card work

You want to book or follow a clinic visit without guessing what a token, an appointment, and a Health Card each do.

Three different tools

A token is a place in today’s queue at a clinic that uses the queue on this platform. An appointment is a time slot the clinic has opened. The Health Card is a private profile tied to a mobile number after that number is verified with a one-time password. They are not medical records held by a hospital unless the clinic itself keeps those records.

  • Token — today’s queue position, when the clinic offers it
  • Appointment — a future slot, when the clinic offers it
  • Health Card — your own profile, visible on this device only after OTP

What you will be asked for

Booking asks for a name and an Indian mobile number. The clinic uses the number to know who the token belongs to. You may be asked for a one-time password so that someone else cannot book or open a profile with your number.

The public status page for a token is meant for the person who holds that visit. Do not forward token links to people who should not see the patient’s name or queue position.

What booking does not do

A token does not guarantee that a particular doctor will be present, that a fee will stay the same, or that you will be seen within a stated number of minutes. The queue screen shows the clinic’s live numbers when the clinic is using it. Fees shown on a page are the amounts stored on that record. Confirm the fee at the desk.

Get Help is a request form. It does not diagnose a condition and it does not dispatch an ambulance.
